Justus Forward graduated from Yale College in 1754. He studied theology with Rev. Timothy Woodbridge and was licensed to preach by the Hampshire Association of Ministers in 1755. Forward was pastor of the Congregational Church in Belchertown, Massachusetts, from 1756-1812.
